1 egg
Salt
Pepper
Red chili powder (optional)
Fresh Bread Crumbs (optional)
Coconut oil

- Make into burger style patties.

This gluten free (without the bread crumbs) quinoa lentil burger recipe makes an easy, satisfying main dish served with a salad or steamed vegetables. Can be enjoyed with your favorite bun or roll, or as a crispy topping for a salad or just by itself.
Our Verdict- the family loved it, Kid 1 preferred the patties coated with bread crumbs, Kid 2 preferred without the bread crumbs. Personally I think not much taste difference between the two patties. The patties stay well in the refrigerator for three days. I would guess they would freeze well too, though we could not resist them to save for the freezing experiment! Next time!

Thanks for the great recipe…….we made it without the bread crumbs, too, and they were delicious. Served them with zucchini stew and grilled okra, yum! Thanks for the inspiration.
