Rosemary Flaxseed Crackers

flax seed crackers editedINGREDIENTS:

2 cups ground flaxseed (you can grind whole flaxseeds in a dry grinder!)

1 cup water

½ teaspoon rosemary ( dried)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon sea salt

PREHEAT THE OVEN to 400° Fahrenheit.

MIX THE DOUGH. Add the ground flax seed, water, rosemary, garlic powder, and sea salt to a bowl. Mix the dough into a ball. (Note-sometimes I then throw in some whole flaxseeds for texture purposes!)

PREPARE TO BAKE. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thickness. Lightly score the dough into squares so it will be easy to break apart after baking. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. The edges should be crisp and brown.
